Construction is underway!

Today marks the start of a furious six weeks of renovations that will see the EastSide Early Learning Center converted into the APEX Honors Program building.

The first step was just getting some of the old preK materials out - EastSide teachers were thrilled to have new furniture, storage, and material for their classrooms; I was thrilled to start being able to see some empty space!

We started wiring the building for wifi access today too -- there will be an access point in each classroom to make sure that our students have reliable access no matter where they are in the building.
